Cold Laser Therapy
Definition
Also called low-level light therapy: specific wavelengths of light held over an injured area for a few minutes. It doesn’t get hot, and you won’t feel much at all. Hogle Chiropractic’s device works at 830 nanometers and 90 milliwatts, and the light reaches roughly two to five centimeters into the tissue. It is used as one part of a wider plan, to support the body’s own repair and to help with pain, swelling, stiffness and muscle spasm.
